Ways to cope with Judgement

Image
I fear judgement, everyone fears it. No matter how confident we are as a person, something changes in us everytime someone passes a judgement. We gradually slip into a self pity mode and question our actions. There's no situation or world without judgement, you are as bound to get judged as you're about to pass judgement. So what do you do, how do you save yourself. Your hair is too short, or you have a slouch, have you put on weight lately, don't you plan to marry and the list is endless. As if from the time you wake up, you're automatically put under a scanner. For those who might be born with a certain amount of confidence or whose parents were aware enough to engrain self love are fortunate to lead judgement free lives or maybe simply they don't feel it. But what about the millions who have some insecurity and the judgement touches that soft nerve. Here are few ways to cope with judgement, since you can't wish it away. 1. Try not to take offense. Relationship Goals

Image
To just make it clear, I am married and quite happily at it. The #relationshipgoals comment on some person's post got me thinking. Whether they were really my relationship goals. People posing happily next to each other or kissing or eating or whatever with each other. I understand the love, what I don't understand is the display. Ok, here's a simple question. Because noone gets to see the ugly fights, the silent treatments, argume...

How many times do you hear the word failure in a day or your lifetime? Countless times, yet every time it's spoken it hurts as much. What exactly is failure? It is the inability to perform a task. It sounds so simple yet there's so much negative emotion attached to it. Failure to perform in exams. Failure to follow your Keto diet. Failure to keep your spouse happy. Failure to do well at your job. The list of failures is endless. I for one has failed more than I have had successes. But in my experience the success that follows a failure is far better and much sweeter than the one which did not taste any sort of failure. Lakhs of people end their lives because they fail to meet some expectation someone else has set. Can you believe it? For example, there are women who commit suicide because they can't bear a child. Is success or happiness equal to a child being born yes sometimes it is but when one fails at it, society gives the person a permanent failure tag. Whic...
